The Independent Anti-Slavery Commissioner, in collaboration with The University of Nottingham, would like to map the current evidence base on contemporary slavery (including human trafficking), especially as it has an impact on the United Kingdom.

The Commissioner and the University of Nottingham are carrying out a survey of current and recent research, both that which is applicable to the UK and that which is carried out by UK researchers.

For more information, click here to see a letter from Professor Kevin Bales of the University of Nottingham, Dr Claire Brickell of the Office of the Independent Anti-Slavery Commissioner and Professor Bernard Silverman of the Home Office.

The survey will be published with full acknowledgment to all those who have contributed. If you are prepared to take part, please provide a summary of up to two pages in length of your current and recent research and that of your group or organisation, together with appropriate bibliography.

Please send all responses to claire.brickell@antislaverycommissioner.gsi.gov.uk
